I wish there was a way to include a doggie cam or some kind of update each day when you’re leaving your dog for boarding over an extended period of time, but otherwise, ABK has been my go to place for boarding my dogs. It’s also more affordable than most places!"

"2 years ago I walked into ABK to learn how to train my new very energetic puppy. We did puppy classes and obedience classes. A heartfelt thank you to Chris F. She is an expert dog trainer. She is patient and very willing to share her wealth of knowledge with all. Ellie is now a calm well behaved golden who is going to lunch at outdoor patios. "Our dog loves to play there. It is not inconvenient for the customer to not be able to come in between 11 -1. Also, many other dog kennels allow you to drop off your dog for play time without having g to make a reservation ahead of time. It is different, of course, if you are going g to board the dog."

"This was my first time ever boarding my dog, and this place came highly recommended from a friend. I brought my dog to her evaluation for daycare since I wanted her to attend during her boarding stay. Which went fine. My unpleasant experience began with apparently their website being outdated/having misinformation about what you can actually bring for boarding. When the website states that they will try their best to return any blankets/toys brought for boarding, common sense can interpret that as you can bring a blanket or a toy with. I brought in a fleece blanket and was told that I could not leave it with my dog. Okay, whatever not a huge deal. Then, going off the actual email I received confirming boarding, it said “… until 4:00pm on Saturday”. So I asked to confirm when a good time for pick up would be mentioning in the email I received it said “until 4:00pm”. I got a bunch of attitude and then was told that no, she needed to be picked up by 12. Which thankfully my friend picking my dog up could change her plans to get there earlier than the literal email stated. I was so flustered and got the worst vibes from the whole process and there was nothing I could do as I was dropping her off on my way to the airport. I’m hoping this was a one off situation since the rest of the reviews seem positive, but I will not be going back for any future services at this boarding/daycare place."

"I boarded my two dogs at ABK for the first time and will definitely come back! Prices are reasonable and staff members were helpful and friendly from booking to picking up. My dogs were able to stay together in one room but isolated from other animals, which was ideal as they had been exposed to ringworm a few days before boarding. The staff kindly assured me that they would take safety precautions to not spread it to other animals (hand washing, not sharing leashes, etc.) and even offered to take my dogs to the vet for me. It was amazing peace of mind knowing ABK staff would keep my dogs safe and healthy. Thank you!"
