"I had surgery here to investigate potential cancer. My doctor went to perform this standard surgery and the slimline scope I needed was “not available”! Doctor used another larger scope that was available and ended up cutting my cervix! Procedure was aborted. I’m still recovering 6wks after surgery & I still don’t know if I have cancer. Why aren’t the proper instruments available for surgical procedures at this surgical center? Of course, I was sent a bill for the full amount. Obviously the surgical center took no responsibility for not having the proper instruments available for this common procedure. No one contacted me about this debacle. They just want my money."

"I had a uterine surgery here yesterday and the entire experience was top tier. The receptionist, the nurses in pre and post op, the doctors. Everyone was so kind and made me feel extremely comfortable. I got pretty sick because of the pain meds so I was there until 2ish. Not a single staff member made me feel like I needed to leave sooner. They just kept checking on me and letting me sleep. This has been very different from all of the other surgeries I've had. Highly recommend this group of awesome humans."

"Absolutely would recommend this Surgery Center. Recently had a procedure and from the waiting room/front desk to the pre-surgery to the post surgery and recovery- this team was top notch. Genuinely cards about my well being and that I understood everything. Did everything to help me feel comfortable. The facility was extremely clean and I loved that there were so many interpreters offered there to help with other languages and support everyone. I wish I could remember all the staffs names because they were exceptional at care - but I hope they know who they are! 10/10 recommend. And Dr. Shipley was an amazing surgeon who is honest about the risks and procedure. He is very real and direct which was good for me. Thanks again Edina Specialty Surgery Center!!"

"I went in for surgery to remove a cyst in my ovary. From the check in, to being wheeled to our car was a wonderful experience. I was very nervous and scared. They explained everything they were doing and what to expect. That made me feel much better. I had lots of questions and everything was very thoroughly answered.
