"There are restaurants that standout based on their food, and ones that stand out based on the combination of food, management, and service. This is the latter. I had the Kietzke Sandwhich. Which was good for a roast beef sandwich. Not bad, but not great, solid for a 11 dollar sub. What made the place standout was the owner. Working I. The restaurant and running the register herself she was friendly and personable happy to talk about her shop, why she started it, and more general conversations about food. A decent sandwich, an awesome owner, and a clean open space for a dining room. This might be what sone people would consider to be the minimum, but an honest smile stands out."
"Fantastic sandwiches, the Idlewild is my favorite! The ingredients are fresh, the bread is so soft and they are ready in less than 5 minutes. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great sandwich spot in Reno!"
