"Caring staff. I switched from another vet in Sparks because my dog needed dental work, and they couldn't schedule it for 6 to 8 months. Desert Hills scheduled it for 2 weeks and got the job done. I'm very pleased."

"We've been taking our difficult cattle dog to Desert Hills for almost 4 years now, and we love them. Dr. Coats is the best. She is incredibly patient, thorough, and compassionate. The prices are reasonable. More importantly, they have always worked to stay within my budget, without judgement! Having a vet who understands my financial constraints, and respects them, is hard to find. Our dog is 14 now, and the care she has received from Dr. Coats has certainly prolonged her life. As we take on chronic kidney failure in Dakota, I am glad we have a vet who will help us through it all."

"They tried using dull scissors to cut the skin tag off my already freaked out dog. Now it looks worse than it did before and it hurt so bad that he actually snapped at them. I could've just done that at home for free with potentially better results. I'd be leaving a worse review but the staff was really nice, it was affordable, and they were able to update two of his shots while working around his anxiety which previous vets haven't been able to do. Probably won't be going back to any vet though unless it's an emergency."

"Friendly staff, no hassles, Vets are top notch and you can tell they love pets. Trustworthy, but busy little place. Answer questions over the phone and in person thoroughly. Ragnar loves his visits and always leaves a happy pooch! No issues here. Keep up the good work! Dr. Coats is the best but other vets are just as good when she wasn't available."
