"I originally went to the Chinese restaurant next door them called China Dragon, but discovered they were closed when I got there. I was hungry and wanted to pick up food on the way home from work after 5pm on a Thursday night. I ended up ordering a regular sized Hamburger Steak plate and 3 spam musubi. The worker shared the Chinese restaurant has a separate arrangement when I asked why they were closed. The Chinese restaurant and Hawaiian restaurant share an open dining space. The spam musubi was well cooked and wrapped with the perfect sauce. However, I didn’t have a great experience with the hamburger steak plate. It tasted bloody like it wasn’t well cooked or like it was old meat, and the gravy was seasoned with some curry tasting mix that was slathered all over the rice. It upset my stomach and I couldn’t finish it. I threw it away. The total for my order was over $20. I am Hawaiian and have made my own hamburger steak, and have had better at Island Sushi Grill and Ross J’s. I won’t be eating here again."
"Food is normally pretty good but this time was not so pleasant. I went about an hour before closing. Many of the popular dishes weren’t available. Chicken Katsu specifically. Got the BBQ chicken instead. Chicken was rubbery and didn’t have that real BBQ taste like normal. Macaroni salad was also kinda rancid."
"Service was nice, wait time long. They did get pretty packed after waiting for 25-30min on our order. Looks like they are balancing the Hawaiian/Asian restaurant between a staff of 3people. It does take away for the service because they are rushed."
"Came for lunch and after paying for my Bbq mixed plate I asked for ice for my drink that I brought with me and was told the ice is only for drinks. Are you kidding me I just paid money at your establishment and you can't provide some ice... CHEAP!! Had to wait longer than was told which I was the only one in the restaurant waiting. While waiting I witnessed an irate customer requesting their money back due to being charged twice. The employees started yelling and cussing at the customer to get out of the restaurant...I thought customers were always right well not at this place. Now for the food, the beef short rib was missing some of the meat... See picture. The meat was not sauced like other Hawaiian bbq places I've been which made the food very bland. I would not recommend.!!"
"Very salty, minimal protein for 12-13$ a plate, not horrible flavor just be sure to have water. You know inflation hits hard when it's 25¢ per extra sauce container."
