"Memaw’s is amazing! KayBee runs this establishment very efficient. Very clean and neat. I’m a sucker for clean restrooms and they were very clean! That’s five more stars. "This was the absolute BEST gumbo I’ve ever had in my life!! I love soul food and the rich flavors exceeded my expectations. I ordered mine with shrimp and an extra side of fried catfish. I dined in, so my food was perfectly hot and fresh. During my time there, I saw a lot of people getting takeout orders, and I see why! I’ll definitely be back to try the shrimp and grits, shrimp po boy, and probably the whole menu lol!"

"This was sooooooo amazingly good. We got the jambalaya, gumbo, and cheese grits. We easily split it between 2 adults and 2 small kids. For all the people saying it's hard to find, I was expecting it to be a lot more of a hunt. The description on the online order page is super clear. My personal favorite was the the jambalaya, but you can't go wrong with either of them. Service was speedy and very kind. We did take out, but the restaurant itself is super cute and we would totally eat inside if we weren't just visiting. We are so glad we made this a destination on our trip!"
