"Love the vibe, service but the pizza was a bit underwhelming. The toppings were quality but the crust wasn't great. It was really soft, with no crust on the bottom or flavor. The salad was amazing though! Next time I'll ask for a crisper crust to see if it makes a difference. The restaurant was very clean and organized which I appreciated and you can see them prep the pizzas up front. Pretty cool experience overall."
"Wonderful restaurant, with fantastic quality pizza and a great selection of craft beers! We had a wonderful time, and I can understand some of the reviews why people aren't into the pies, but I think the blueberry pie was great! Uniquely in their own style, chunkier (not runny) filling and quite flavorful! The pie crust could use some work on flakiness and less dense but still a fan! The pizza crust was what really brought everything together, I can still taste it! Keep up the great work! Service was super attentive and will definitely return!"
"We just happened to stumble upon Crust and Roux for dinner. They serve pizza and pot pies. The pizza was mediocre, dessert pie was okay, but WOW the steak pot pie was amazing - probably the best pot pie I’ve ever had! Well balanced, nuanced flavors. Flakey crust. Not too dry but not too moist. Skip the pizza and try one of these!"
"Nope. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, cheese sticks, and cherry pie. The pizza was just OK. Not horrible, not great. The cheese sticks were hard and had no flavor. But the worst was the cherry pie. I have never tasted anything like it, and not in a good way. The filling had the oddest texture, like mincemeat. It tasted like nothing. It was so bland, and the texture was disgusting and dry and gritty. Based on what we ordered, I don’t recommend this place, especially at this price point."
