Ramen Aku

"Went to dinner with the in laws here. Loved the vibe! Very cool with all the figures and posters. It was a nice little ramen shop. The staff were inviting and greeted you right away when you came in. The prices weren’t bad and the bowls were big. They had a few sushi options as well. The sushi wasn’t bad it was ok tried the golden spicy tuna roll which was a tempura battered deep fried spicy tuna roll. Tried some spicy green beans they weren’t super spicy, those were ok the batter wasn’t light tempura like I thought it would be. Cali roll was ok it was more of just a crabstick roll because there was nothing else in it but crabstick usually cali rolls have at least cucumber or avocado with the crabstick. We tried the spicy aku ramen that was pretty good. You can choose your spice level by the way. Also had the tonkatsu ramen and ultimate ramen as well. The tonkatsu was ok traditional tasting the pork belly in it could have been better was a bit bland. The ultimate came with a bit of everything was also ok tasted like the tonkatsu. Overall the food was good wasn’t amazing I have had better but definitely a nice spot to grab a meal."

"You know how first impressions are super important? Well, in this case 2nd impressions killed any good first impressions we may have had. Our first time visiting Ramen Aku was pretty good. The food was decent... The deep fried California roll had really light tempura and the crab in the middle was super cold... Definitely would have liked it hot. Flavour was good tho! The bulgogi burger was great! The wedge fries were outstanding.... We ordered the build your own ramen. We chose the chicken broth. Unfortunately that had little to no flavour at all. But the ramen was good nonetheless. The bulgogi gyoza were also tasty... too bad they overcharged the menu says $8.95... yet my receipt shows I was charged $9.00. Not the end of the world but....Here's where things went wrong. We decided to pick up take out the very next day. We tried to call in to place the pick up order... No luck! After multiple tries ... so we drove there. We went to order... they didn't have fries for the burger.... the California roll we were told they weren't doing sushi that day cus the chef cut himself.... the lady also said they are frequently out of stuff when we asked to order the crab burger... We then said no worries we'll go elsewhere. Before we left we said that we tried to call in the order but there was no answer. She stated, yeah we will never answer the phone... it's best to order online thru a delivery service. Needless to say... we will never return to Raman Aku and we definitely won't be recommending anyone eat here."

"The food here is really good. Loved the garlic ramen and the shrimp fried rice. The Supreme flavor on the chicken skewers wasn't for me, but might be for you! The servers were really kind, but maybe just a tad inexperienced/new so please be patient and kind, everyone is just trying their best! They forgot our drink order, but we're very apologetic and sweet about the situation ❤️"

"This was a new spot I had to try out. This was a really cute and fun ramen shop I really loved the interior and was nice and clean. The food was unique and everything has top quality. I ordered the ultimate ramen, takoyaki, green beans, and chicken skewer. I loved every item I had and the chicken skewer was the best fried chicken I’ve had it was light and crispy. The takoyaki was hot and creamy inside crisp exterior with yummy sauce on top. The green beans were a nice healthy touch with a crisp coating. The ramen was flavorful and had all the topping I needed."
