"This is a very small restaurant, but for some reason it wasn't hard to get reservations for a Saturday night (Did we get lucky?). They do have 4 seats at the counter for walk ins. The Bloody Mary & sake was really good. We tried all the oysters (7 each) they had that night and they were all super fresh and delicious (Kumamotos FTW). We also had the pan roast and steamed clams, surf and turf skewers and garlic fries. Everything was worth it and was superb. The have a large drink menu. The gentleman at the host counter was very friendly and nice, but the waitresses in the restaurant all had RBF and we did not feel appreciated, considering we spent $320. Be aware - the suggested tip on the receipt starts at 20% until 25% and is calculated after tax instead of before tax!!!"
"Oysters were excellent. Clam chowder was really good with lots of clams. The bread bowl was really good - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The pan roast was okay. Shrimp linguine was good - I appreciated the amount of shrimp. I didnt like the cioppino - it was very sweet for my liking. Overall, I enjoyed our meal and thought service was outstanding."
"Found this restaurant online and saw the great reviews and wanted to give it a try. The menu looked great and it did not disappoint! Had three appetizers (garlic edamame, chowder fries, and lamb skewers) and they were amazing! The four entrees we all chose were a hit and we all enjoyed our meals. We loved the small, quaint atmosphere too. Will definitely be back!"
"Legends was great! I had the Pan Roast (spicy) and loved it! Heat level was perfect and was creamier than expected. I also had a bowl of chowder and third that too! Chowder was filled with pieces of clam and wasn’t too salty. We also got a seafood platter and lobster Mac n cheese. Family had that and I had one shrimp cocktail which was gigantic. Cocktail sauce complimented the shrimp with a little tang. I will come back for that pan roast!"
"This place is PHENOMENAL!! Hands down the best gumbo I have ever eaten. The broth had several layers of flavor that went deep. The different selection of oysters was nice, and I enjoyed trying new (to me) varieties. The service was spot on. I will definitely be back the next time we are in town.."
