"I’d been here once before with my husband for a la carte lunch 8 months ago it was a little slow but manageable. I returned here with my 2 kids on Sat Jan 27, 2024 for lunch we ordered 3 all you can eat. The owner sat us and made a face when I asked to see the AYE menu. We were the only people there. Myself and my 2 kids each ordered 2 rolls. After nearly 40 minutes we got a hand roll (mostly rice) and a cut roll (thin slices of fish, bad flavor ). It seems like they make the rolls not as good if you order AYCE and then take forever to discourage you from ordering more. The owner who was also making the sushi and his seemingly wife standing next to him telling him what to do continued with the slowest service I’ve ever experienced at a sushi restaurant. My kids and I had somewhere to go so I finally walked up to the sushi bar and told the couple that I’ll just pay the a lacarte price for the 2 rolls we received. As I walked back to the table the woman behind the sushi counter yelled to me “you just leave then, you don’t have to pay just get out!” I looked back in surprise as she repeatedly yelled for me to “just leave”! So my kids and I got up and left. The woman then followed us out to my car saying “have a nice day thank you for leaving” my kids and I didn’t reply we just got into the car as we felt harassed by her in the parking lot. I saw from my car mirror that she got in her Lexus and drove off. Most bizarre experience for what was meant to be an easy , nice sushi lunch with my kids. If you order AYCE they give you bad food and terrible service. I will obviously never return and would not recommend this business."

"Been meaning to try this restaurant…finally was in the area. Located in a small strip mall off Hualapai Way near Desert Inn Rd. We ordered: 1.) Tempura appetizer. The shrimp could be fried a bit more outside coating was not crisp. 2.) Pink Lemon Roll crab was fresh with a nice tart finish from the lemon slice. 3.) Double Yellowtail Roll. If you enjoy spicy then this is the roll for you! Fish was fresh Our servers were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back."

"Upon entering the restaurant my wife and I immediately were pleased to see a nice variety of Asian decor throughout the seating area. It took about 5 minutes for us to be seated even though there was nobody in the restaurant which was not a big deal. Our servers name was Steven and he did a good job of balancing between leaving us alone and letting us eat but also checking in on us to make sure we were good. Our appetizer was the shrimp tempura and we felt it was a little under seasoned but I particularly liked the crispiness in the way that it was fried. It also came with a sauce that was a little bit bland but we still ate it all. I ordered the killer salmon sushi roll and my wife ordered the ninja roll sushi. It was a great combination because of the contrast in textures, one of them was a little more crispy from the tempura while the killer salmon roll was really soft and just melted in your mouth. It was a pretty good deal because we use a Groupon which saved us about 30% or so. The presentation of the food was exquisite and you can tell that the sushi chef has a lot of experience. Overall I can definitely recommend this place if you want a good sushi experience. It is very highly likely that I will be coming back."
