"Well! This is just my experience with John Casablancas. I did the audition online and they said "John Casablancas Is An Agent". After I the audition, I researched on Google about this company and read all about the review, after I read reviews I emailed and sent a text and said: " I want to cancel it" and they said: " just join your first class first and if you don't like it, you can cancel any time and it's free". After I read the text I joined my first class and I really don't like it and I texted them: "I want to cancel it" and they are accepted it. After about a month I received the letter in mail box, and in the letter it's said: I have to pay 3 hundred almost 4 hundred. And I don't know what I have to pay for"
"This place is amazing, I’m currently a student here and the teachers and everyone are very kind and very helpful way better then other modeling agency. I love this place!! Class are amazing and people in my classes are also very kind and calm. They are Also very understandable!! Thank you John Casablancas for everything and making my dream come true"
"Please do not consider this agency if you’re looking into getting into modeling. they say it’s cheaper, or even free on some sites. they do not mention any money until they “pick” you. you go to the audition and they will ask for a one on one interview, if they want to accept you they will ask for a down payment and will say spots are closing so you will have no time to really think about it. the down payment is 200-300 i don’t remember the exact amount. they also say it is an agency, so you go in thinking you’ll get photo shoots, followers and all that but it’s actually a modeling school. you will have to pay $71 a week for ONE class. they do not allow you to pay on your own time, your card will be charged every monday. if you end up missing a class it is hard to reschedule. i decided to quit going, they took $284 out of my account for classes i was unable to attend for good reasons. i then asked for a refund because i did NOT attend the classes and i was unable to reschedule so i basically paid for nothing. they said they were unable to do that and since then have been ignoring my emails and calls. this business is money thirsty and does not care about much other than money. i have heard the same thing from other students, wondering if it was a real agency or if they will actually go somewhere by going there. they will have “celebrity” meet and greets but if you look them up online you can’t find much about them like you would be able to for a real celebrity. please find a different agency that cares about their models, and not your money."
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. John Casablanca's is a scam. They scam people for money and use other companies to do it too. I originally went to an "interview/audition" for this company because I was interested in modeling and acting. The lady in charge sat down with me and gave me vague information on the program and then told me that it cost money for classes. I signed up for the classes, attended one, and found it was not right for me. I withdrew from the classes and stopped attending. A year later I get a call from a credit collections company saying i owe this company $400.00. What?! No one had informed me on this and now they are forcing me to pay this money simply for not attending classes simply because it was in the contract. I am very frustrated that this is happening. I asked if they will take a settlement and they rejected it. I already paid MORE than the $400.00 originally when I signed up for the classes and never got a refund for those! Why pay more for not going to the classes. Now I am paying TWICE for classes I did not take. This is the worst place to do business with. They put fine print in their contracts allowing them to dig their customers and clients into debt. They target young kids, me, a broke college student that can barely pay rent and they force you to pay money by hiding their fine print and rules behind spotlights and loud music. Do not do business with this company, they will make you pay 2x more money than what they tell you it will cost and do not inform you on any fees that an account with them will incur. I am unhappy and unsatisfied with the company and its sneaky actions to get more money."
"It took me two classes to realize what these people are doing. They make you feel like you’re special, and that they can help you work on your skills. They make themselves appear professional and claim their classes are 2 hours long but today the guy stopped us at 4(usually ends at 5) asked us what time it was and just ended the class, saying we should checkout the graduation ceremony. I paid $80 for an hour class, and the lady said she had no ‘change’. They take advantage of your excitement, and people who’ve never been exposed to the industry before. I was told I’d be able to work on my confidence, and that in 6 months I’d be a completely different person. Why should it cost $2000+ for me to ‘work’ on my confidence? Please don’t waste your money on this place."
