"It's not often I feel compelled to leave 1 star reviews but I hope my experience will help a parent out there. My son attended this school for approximately two years. Things started great - he had fantastic, teachers and I never had any negative experience with management. However, after a change in directorship of the facility, a lot of cracks started to show and issues started becoming apparent even to the parents. It was clear the school couldn’t retain teachers (something I know is not unique to KA) and tuition continued to climb despite none of the purported benefits being visible. In the latest classroom, my son started with 3 amazing teachers who worked well together and maintained order in a room full of 3 - 4 year olds. However, very quickly all three left (in rapid succession) for what I understand to be primarily related to unhappiness with not only pay, but also management. Things started to really smell fishy and one by one the good teachers all begin moving into management to make a bit more money, while the quality of their replacements got lower and lower. Once the original teachers were all gone, it was a game of musical chairs with one incompetent teacher after the next coming through, sometimes for only a week or two at a time, and the turnover rate was really affecting the children in the room. It was clear the new teachers weren’t adequately trained to lead this class and sometimes 3 or even 4 teachers would be standing stationary doing literally nothing while chaos ensued. Beyond just my son, all children began acting out. My son was learning bad habits on a daily basis from the children being left to run amok. Eventually, the scenes witnessed on the parental camera system resembled a circus more than a day care. Children were climbing and jumping off furniture, riding toy cars down the slides, and the children totally took over the room. The school tried their passive and hands off methods but it was readily apparent to anyone with eyes that these methods were failing. These failures to exercise reasonable diligence stunted my son’s development. He was once kind and loving but had learned to become aggressive and out of control. He learned hitting, spitting, screaming, and other behaviors while at school (things he had no exposure to anywhere else). I worked with management to find programs and solutions and was constantly reassured that several options were available through state and volunteer programs. I continued to assert to them that the teachers needed to regain control of the room because their hands off, passive approach to redirection had not worked for many weeks in a row. Our second to last week at Kiddie Academy, I was having direct conversations with the director about options available and all of the various avenues we had yet to exhaust, and there were promises of a new lead teacher coming into the room (although this new teacher was hardly present for her first three weeks so it was ineffective for her to try to regain control of the room). Not even two business days after my last call with the director where I was reassured that we had plenty of options still to try, I was notified by an email on a Monday afternoon that my son was being disenrolled and could only stay for that week. So rather than the director having been honest in her assessment (which only a few short days prior she must have known disenrollment was likely), she instead sprung disenrollment as a surprise in the middle of the busiest work week I've had in years with virtually no assistance in transitioning to a new center and a rejection of my request for one last week to help me find a new school. For a facility so ravaged by teacher turnover, you'd expect them to be a bit more sympathetic to the plights of a parent now struggling with sudden disenrollment. This facility has completely collapsed in recent months and from what I could see, they have been trending this way for a very long time and are not close to making any positive changes. I can only describe the school as a sinking ship."
"I want to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude for the excellent care and attention you provide to my daughter at the daycare. I am extremely happy and at ease while I am at work, knowing that my daughter is in good hands. I love the ability to see her through my phone at any time and knowing that she is happy and well taken care of. Additionally, I want to commend the staff for being so attentive, professional, and dedicated in what they do. The love and effort they put into every detail to ensure the well-being of the little ones are truly evident. I am grateful for everything you do, and I have no hesitation in recommending the daycare 100%. Thank you for your excellent work and for providing a safe and caring environment for our children. With appreciation and gratitude,"
"I can't say enough positive things about Kiddie Academy! Their educational child care services have truly created a positive and enriching experience for my children (all 3 attend KA) and I'm incredibly grateful for the dedication and commitment their team demonstrates. The teachers at Kiddie Academy are nothing short of fantastic. They go above and beyond to make sure every child feels welcome, engaged, and excited to be part of the class. Their passion for teaching is evident, and my child looks forward to going to school every day because of them. What truly stands out is the exceptional cooperation and open-mindedness of the Owner and Directors at Kiddie Academy. They have been incredibly accommodating, working closely with us to meet our specific needs and requests. Their willingness to listen and adapt to our requirements has made our experience even more positive. Thank you, Kiddie Academy, for making a positive impact on my children's early years!"
"I cannot express enough how grateful I am that I found the Kiddie Academy of Centennial Hills and how impressed I am with the exceptional care their staff provides. As a first-time parent returning to work, I was apprehensive about leaving my precious 11-week-old in the care of others…but just after a few days all my worries were put to rest. The teachers are truly outstanding. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for the babies in their care are evident in every interaction. They go above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment that fosters growth and development of our little one. The daycare is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and filled with age-appropriate toys and educational materials that stimulate the babies’ senses and promote their cognitive development. The caregivers take the time to get to know each child and their unique needs, ensuring that they receive the personalized attention they deserve. It’s so heartwarming to see how the teachers engage with the babies, showering them with love and attention, playing with them, singing songs, and reading stories to encourage their social and emotional growth. Communication is also excellent at the Kiddie Academy. The daily reports and updates I receive about my little one’s activities, meals and milestones are detailed and thorough. They also have high resolution cameras in each room where I can check on my baby whenever I start to miss him. This open line of communication between staff and parents gives me peace of mind knowing that my child is well taken care of throughout the day. I also must mention the sense of community that the academy fosters. They organize family events and celebrations allowing parents to connect with each other and build a supportive network. I wholeheartedly recommend the Kiddie Academy of Centennial Hills to any parent in search of a nurturing and enriching environment for their little one. My baby is 6.5 months old now and he is thriving thanks to the Kiddie Academy; they have exceeded all expectations and provided exceptional experience. I am very thankful to the entire team for the incredible work you do!"
"This place is absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend them to anyone that can make the commute reasonably! I have heard so many daycare horror stories from friends and coworkers, but I have NEVER had anything close to a horrible experience. Even when I've had concerns the management staff there is amazing and has always responded and assisted me immediately. Usually, it was just a small miscommunication, nothing ever serious. There is some turnover in the company, but really these days, what company doesn't have that? I have loved every teacher my son has had. They always communicate when he needs something or if he's not feeling well or even had a small accident like falling down as toddlers are prone to do. I've trusted them with my son since he was 6-weeks old and I never want to go anywhere else. They give me amazing feedback at the end of the day, they have cameras I can log into at any time. They help my son reach his milestones and he loves everyone there. If you have kids and you want to KNOW they are in good hands, this is the place for them to be! They aren't the cheapest, but they aren't the most expensive either and really it's worth it to make sure your child is with people that will care for them as best as you would (while watching 7 other kids at the same time if not better given the scenario lol)."
