"Took my mother in to the ER on Thanksgiving evening. Front desk staff were great and it was what we thought was a good start to a rough evening. A few issues we experienced: 1. First person to come in to the room was a “tech” as it said on his name badge. For some reason he was the first to come to the room and ask my mother questions and immediately stated that she wasn’t well due to not taking medication daily. He was not personable or friendly, spoke almost in a condescending and cold manner was very matter of fact in his “diagnosis” before even knowing all of the symptoms or how the medication was prescribed to her. He also kept looking at my 6-yr old daughter in an almost uncomfortable and in un-approving manner which I had no understanding of he seemed bothered that she was there, minding her business on her iPad. When my mother asked me if I noticed it too I was taken aback. 2. The emergency room doctor finally arrived and while speaking to my mother about symptoms and health history, she proceeded to write all of this on her GLOVE! Flipped her palm over and continued to write on the same glove on the back of her hand?!?! Are you kidding me? 3. Once the doctor left, the previous tech and another one came in and while he was preparing my mother for her test, he and the other nurse tech and talking about the current ER doctor and the oncoming doctor and how needy they were and how they didn’t like working with them, basically “gossiping” about the doctors and having personal conversations in the hospital room all while somewhat working on my mother. They all took our kindness for weakness and made assumptions about how they could behave in front of us based on our appearance and silence (it was complete shock). People come in, in a vulnerable state and expect dignity and respect, which they obviously take full advantage of. They were disrespectful, unprofessional and abhorrently oblivious to their job and the profession they’ve selected. Disgusted. I waited to write a review to see if my disdain would simmer, but no. I’m just as pissed and will shout this from the rooftops if asked about this location."
"Such a wonderful experience for such a scary situation. From the front desk back, everyone has been kind and caring. I came in in AFIB. I was terrified. The Tech Don immediately made me feel better and in good hands, give that guy an award!!!!! Thank you to everyone that cared for me. As a nurse, I can say, this place is wonderful and these people really care."
"The worst! NEVER again. Went in for bad vison issues. I am diabetic never did a finger stick. Just did a blood test to find out my sugar is high. Been running dangerously high but didn't seem to concern them. Did a couple tests Said all was normal. Told me a couple times maybe I need glasses this coming from nurse Vogt. (Melissa) been to the eye doctor 3 times since March and 2 times to my retina specialist. The latest being this past week. By the way the urine sample that I asked them if they needed after being there over an hour was still sitting in the restroom after I got my discharge papers. TOTAL waste of time and money. Good luck to the next patient. I forgot to mention they took blood twice since they couldn't get it right the first time. They are not overly friendly and they don't like small talk. No one checks on you and has no compassion or caring nature. The first few sentences from the doctor before any tests was like see the eye doc and follow up with the primary doc. Really? The only GOOD person here was the CT test. He was very kind and genuinely cared for patients and enjoyed his job. Wish i knew his name! ANYWAY thanks for nothing today and wasting my time."
