"I only came here once and I had the 3 items. Living in a place where Taiwanese food is everywhere and pretty good quality, I'm realty impressed with this place. Was going to give 4 stars but looking at other stuff they serve, I'm afraid they are better than I think. Some of the dishes are very enticing but I can't eat that much. Salty soybean milk was perfect. Not too salty, they added preserved vegetables which some places don't and it was perfect. Baked need sandwich was a surprised. Didn't expect the flaky wrapping was so good. Not too heavy, flavor just right. Beef were shredded and easy to eat and flavorful. Sauce not overwhelming. Impressive. Salty rice roll was also impressive. The ingredients were just the right proportion. Flavor was just right. Ingredient was fresh. I've had some popular places where the fried donut inside was really hard. This one was"

"Sister shop of the Taiwan Deli in Chinatown, this smaller cafe location’s food is authentic Taiwanese and quite tasty. The traditional soybean milk is solid and the Taiwanese style braised beef and tendon noodle was on point. The scallion pancake is a doughier more chewy version of the common dish. The side dishes were also a star. The prices are fair if not a great value. The service can be misunderstood but if you engage, you won’t be disappointed by their friendliness. Overall a solid choice for breakfast/brunch as they open at 8am. Note there is a surcharge of 4% for credit cards so bring cash."

"It’s an average Taiwanese Deli. But, the menu made us very excited and craving for traditional Taiwanese food. However, the disappointment is the pork chop rice were too salty for our tastes."
