"Campground was very nice with a great view. There were several small playgrounds outside of the campground. Restrooms were clean and upkept. We stayed at site B32, only issue was ants, they got into everything, had to leave a day early."
"Nice simple campground on the Arkansas River. Directly adjacent to Old Post Park, so you have access to playgrounds, tennis, basketball, Frisbee golf, and some really nice mountain bike trails. It is also directly adjacent to the soccer fields (which also has a walking path and playground). There is also a boat ramp to the Arkansas River. If you keep your eyes open, you might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle!"
"Beautiful, well maintained campground. Very quiet. Extra large lots. 2nd time there and will definitely go back!"
"It's a great clean camp ground but the shower house is always very hot. The water is only one temp and it's HOT. The temp isn't adjustable at all so I end up pouring sweat before I'm done. My son wouldn't shower at all because it burns. It's better than cold but dang. I also feel like it is unnecessary to beat on my door until I answer to "check in" when I've done that on the app. If you need more information I feel like it could wait until 12pm at least. I got like an hour of sleep because someone beat on my door at 7am. I would much rather talk when my dogs and children are awake. A sticky note that says "come talk to me" would suffice"
"I love Corp of Engineer Parks and this is one of the best I’ve stayed in. I was here for 5 nights before visiting friends north of here. I liked it so much I returned for another 4 nights. Clean, roomy and level sites with picnic tables and water and electric hookups right on the Arkansas River. A dump station on the premises. Super nice hosts. I have no doubt I will return again."
