Flandreau Indian School, located at 1132 North Crescent Street in Flandreau, South Dakota, is a secondary school that offers a unique and enriching educational experience for Native American high school students from across the United States. Our school is a public, off-reservation boarding school operated by the BIE, providing a safe and supportive environment for students in Grades 9-12.
At Flandreau Indian School, we have a dedicated team of teachers, teacher-coaches, and support staff who are committed to helping students succeed academically, socially, and personally. Our student life is vibrant and engaging, with a variety of clubs, counselors, and activities to participate in. From photography and computer animation to weight-lifting and Indian Club, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to our academic and extracurricular offerings, Flandreau Indian School also has a strong sports program that allows students to get involved in competitive athletics. Our sports teams compete in various events and tournaments throughout the year, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their skills and teamwork.
