Reviews of Dakota State University
"Boasting one of the most robust STEM programs in the state, this university offers an unparalleled educational experience. The pristine campus, resplendent in its beauty, provides an inspiring learning environment. Coupled with an amiable and professional faculty, the institution promotes an atmosphere of intellectual growth and camaraderie. In particular, the Graduate Cyber Defense/Operations Programs stand out as a testament to the university's commitment to cutting-edge education. Upon my personal visit, I was deeply impressed by the warmth and expertise of the staff and faculty - an experience that remains impactful whether you choose the convenience of online learning or the traditional on-campus approach. Considering its superior academic offerings, nurturing community, and flexible learning options, I wholeheartedly endorse this university as an excellent choice for your higher education. This recommendation comes from my personal experience and my belief in the exceptional quality of education they offer."
"College is expensive and it's very frustrating, but if you're going to go through with it and pay off all those debts you might as well do it somewhere that it's gonna count! Can't say enough about this place. I had great experiences with the people and professors. The classes were engaging and set you up well for employment afterwards. In my first job out of DSU I started to notice that the experience I received here had me in a better place than my co-workers. They had a lack of knowledge in a lot of basic areas within my field and I feel as if their schooling did not cover things that were essential to a professional work environment. They have a lot of events and clubs to join right on campus. The campus is small, but very inviting. They have the highest technology I've seen and they are amazing for any computer-based majors. The class sizes are small enough that your professors can get to know you on a personal level and really help you out while somehow feeling like they're your friend. (I even have some of them on Facebook that I communicate with and I graduated 7 years ago!) If you're on the fence about going here, wait no longer. You'll get a solid education. If you're questioning the size of the town and having things to do, Sioux Falls and Brookings are close to the same distance away in opposite directions so you're centrally located right between them and they both have many things to do if you can't find something to interest you in Madison."
"Dsu is an awesome school. It has a great community and some awesome programs. They are super helpful and the professors are usually really caring and are always willing to help. My freshman hall, Higbie, really helped the freshman get the hang of stuff and make friends. Its not a terribly expensive school, about average so its a fray school to consider :)"
"Great school! The faculty and staff are some of the best I have experienced in my higher education studies. I completed the MSIS program. The staff members at DSU seem to really care about your development and progress throughout the entire program. The faculty were all highly qualified, communicated well, and delivered instruction that was suitable to distance learning students. Highly recommend this school for those in the IT field looking to gain a graduate degree."
