"Our family used True Care Moving this past fall. They came highly recommended from a family member who had a good experience with them about a year and a half ago. Our move resulted in damage to multiple pieces of furniture, our front door and marks on the floor and carpet. Also, the job took double the time quoted so the cost was significantly more than we expected. We did not select additional insurance coverage for this move thus we were not eligible for compensation. The owner did make an attempt to compensate us for the damage but we came out behind – paying more out of pocket than was quoted and with damaged items we needed to address. Communication with the company throughout the process was quick, easy and efficient. The moving team worked very hard and were pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, I think the training and diligence was not what we expected. I would recommend purchasing additional insurance and being more aware of what is happening during the moving process."

"Used this team for a short notice move about a year and a half ago. They put everything into storage as I was moving out of state for a few months and then coming back to find a new home... during the move I had to complain about the amount of time it took for them to unload into storage( 3x the time it took to load my 5 level home) during the move to storage they put a hole in a baby mattress, destroyed my futon dropping it into dirty snow, and broke some decorative sticks. All things I reported to the owner who assured me he would take care of it and I veneer heard back from him regarding compensation for my items... now let's keep in mind the company makes you sign an agreement saying that since it's going into storage they aren't responsible for anything damaged. Well that would be great but when we finally went to love everything out after moving 2 bins I had 4 fall on my head before the whole storage began to tumble because the movers stuffed things in, used the destroyed futon (fully opened and standing) to push everything against the wall and then used bins to hold it in place so when we removed the top two bins we could see everything was about to fall on my head AGAIN... only this time they had stuff stacked to the ceiling, as in furniture, that was ready to tumble as soon as one more Bin was moved, so I had to stop and HIRE HELP to just to help take things out without making myself a liability... as we continue to unpack I continue to find HIGH VALUE items destroyed. My all in one PC cracked and destroyed , I just plugged in the tv we used in a spare room, to give to my god daughter for her game and it's destroyed, the futon went to the trash, mattress had to be replaced, now a computer and a tv destroyed. I originally said I wasn't going to leave a bad review off of the moving experience but after moving back and finding a place only to find out I can't access the files on the pc and that now I have to spend MORE MONEY replacing things because of the non liable agreement I signed. Who knew I'd have to replace so many things not to mention they agreed to move a box of liquor because it had open bottles and they were "movers" and it somehow never made it to either storage locker. So another $200 loss :(. Oh and did I mention my white furniture is pretty much gray thanks to the lack of wrapping and horrible storage placement under everything. I guess I am finally at my limit of destroyed items and needed to make a post. The pics are the tv and pc that I discovered this week. The rest were sent over a long time ago to the owner and never compensated for. Just to be clear, After the owner response, I'm not sure how you "think" you connected this review to an unpaid account but we actually spoke about you charging a late fee with all that I had experienced. Also, when this account was fresh I clued you in to the damage and there was no follow through. Today's review was because I'm now over $1000 in damaged goods and that's frustrating since you require a no liability waiver. It basically gives the team the ability to be this careless because they know you aren't liable. Thanks though."
