"Hometown favorite. I've been eating pizza here for years. Tried a gluten-free crust for the first time. I was actually pretty impressed, a bit crispy on the edges and slightly chewier than the familiar Tasty pizza crust. I could not tell it was gluten-free at all. One of the owners, Joe, offered the Pizza free, if I didn't like it. I did not take him up on the offer. I enjoyed the pizza very much."

"I would first like to say that the gal who answered the phone Stella, was so nice! I had a coupon (which a lot places roll their eyes and don’t give you as good customer service) she immediately said yes! What can I get for you?!? Almost like she was excited I had the coupon lol. When I came to pick it up, both gals were so nice that I ordered a Pepsi so I could tip on my card, because that kind of customer service deserves to be recognized. The pizza was sooooooo good! And made with care! First time here, and definitely will be back!! Thank you for the great experience!"

"It is a popular and fun place in Columbia Heights, MN. Great food, service, and overall enjoyable place to eat. We ordered cheese curds and cheese bread with meat sauce as appetizers... which were delicious. We also ordered the Hawaiian, taco, and cheese pizza. All 3 were fantastic. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth trying!"

"Got the Sassy D pizza. It is a classic square-cut family style pizzeria with generous, quality ingredients. It was just greasy enough for me to need a couple of paper towels, but not so greasy that I needed more towels. Normally I am a pig and eat entire portions in one sitting, but this pizza was made with such heartiness and TLC that I felt full after only half. A bit on the expensive side, but I did absolutely get the quality TLC that I paid for. Now I can see why this place has been around since the 60s!"

"Fun atmosphere and great service. We had the garlic mushrooms to start and they were SO gooood. Then we had the variety pizza and the taco pizza. The pizza was good, not great. The crust was really soggy. The sauce was good, old-school Minnesota style, thick and well seasoned. The toppings were plentiful. The taco pizza was kind of flavorless. We'll go back because it's a fun neighborhood place and the service was awesome but we'll probably try the pasta next time."
