"A perfect pub. Live music, lively service, and nachos. We came in for our second stop in Murphy's. They had all the drink info on the wall, a nice big food menu, and plenty of seating. The bartender who's name maybe Nick? Made us feel right at home. He was a step ahead of our needs the whole time as we sat at the bar and took over for an hour. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would consider that first class service. Ritz level, deep into Calaveras. Will be back for a stouty pint."

"Thought it was going to be your average bar food. I was wrong. It was absolutely delicious! Best Ruben I have ever had. Beer was ice cold and delicious. And dogs are welcome! Brought my old dog for his last meal and they treated him so well. Highly recommend this place!"

"Stopped in around 4:00 on Friday and had no problem getting seated. The food was great and service was friendly. I got the small salad which was a generous size with a delicious dressing, feta cheese and plenty of fresh veggies. The Irish nachos with corned beef were a treat as well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area."

"Stopped in for beers and an appetizer before dinner at another restaurant in town. Pretzel was as good as I remember and beer was cold and a good selection to choose from. Not too busy and we were able to be seated right away but we did arrive around 4pm, between lunch and dinner crowds."
