"Had to post a warning… if you try to place a Togo order with The House of Pita in Murphys, make sure you CHECK which number you call. If you call from their Facebook page, you will unknowingly call their Stockton location. You’ll place your order and won’t realize your mistake until you go to pick it up. And then feel even more frustrated by the lack of concern of employees at both locations. In which the employees will ask if you call the “right location” as in this has happened before… so why not fix it?? I have been waiting since they opened in September to get a chance to try them and on my birthday tonight I wanted to give them a try. And no, I refused their offer to wait around 20 more minutes while my kids cried that they were hungry, ran to the store for a chicken. If you want Greek cuisine I can already tell you the place in Sonora is far better and the owners are there every day and care for their customers."

"We had a wonderful late lunch a few weekends ago. The owner came by our table to say hello. Every bite was scrumptious and the new decor, layout felt spot on. We started with the dolmadas and loved the homemade sauce. We then shared the grilled greek lamp chops with rice - cooked perfectly. We ended with the traditional gyro with a greek salad - the homemade dressing was delicious. Great to see local wines and beer on the menu as well. Consistent hours and open six days a week. What a treat in downtown Murphys!"
