"Walked over from our motel and was instantly seated and served drinks. Our food quickly arrived. We ordered a beef brisket plate and a beef brisket sandwich. They were both very good as were the sides, except for the fries, I didn’t care much for those. The atmosphere is fun and clean. The staff was very friendly and held conversation with us which was nice"

"Mountain View Barbecue is worth a stop if you’re coming through on 395 Thursday through Sunday before 7pm. Nice smoky brisket, excellent onion rings and cornbread. Artichoke rice? My first encounter with this salad. Did it originate with Oakland-style barbecue, or is it southern? Next time I’ll ask for double sauce on the meat."
