"Building well laid out. Extremely clean and follows COVID protocol to a T. Would recommend to all."
"We tried the community Education Swimming courses to compare to the other programs in the area that are available, it was a mistake. It makes sense why they do not want parents watching the classes, there is zero structure to them. During the one class we were able to watch, the instructor clearly had no plan on he wanted to accomplish based on the long delays that he would take after each stroke lesson to decide on what to do next. Then when he would make a decision, sometimes even based on what my child asked him to do, he would just look around and watch other things instead of focusing on how well the technique was being performed. On top of it all, they allow open swim during the lesson, which I could see clearly altered how the lesson was performed. At the end of the course the instructor walked up to me and said "here you go" handing me a the recap sheet and suggestions for future lessons but there were no discussion around what went good or bad during the lessons. Just not a high value experience."
"All teachers are very friendly and helpful"
"My experience with 191 community ed is just o.k. We have tried a variety of classes and camps for kids birth- 6 years. I find that while most of the teachers are passionate about their topics, they are not adequately trained in classroom management techniques. They definitely don't have training to deal with special needs kids. A few of the classes we signed up for didn't have enough participants and were canceled. Overall, don't expect too much out of it, but it can be a cost effective way to try something new."
