"Maggie was an amazing breath of informational and compassionate air! I was having a difficult time getting education and help from several local vets and a neurologist regarding my 13yr old lab having seizures for the first time. I've never been exposed to a dog or human having a seizure and it was quite the traumatic experience. $1500 later, Zoe (furbaby) came back with a clean bill of health. Unfortunately, an MRI/Spinal tap was the next step. For anyone that has been quoted an MRI, they can understand my struggle to put a 13yr old dog through that. I wasn't getting much information from the vets to make sure Zoe was comfortable. She was prescribed Keppra for the seizures. I was given very little info on the medicine and how long she would have to be on this new routine. I understand seizures are quite the mystery, and it's extremely difficult to address the cause.
