"We recently dined at Mehfil Indian Bistro, and I must say, the experience was truly delightful. The Indian cuisine surpassed my expectations – the daal tadka, sahi paneer, and bhindi masala were nothing short of amazing. The garlic naan, with its thin and perfectly cooked texture, was a standout. Every dish showcased freshness, and the reasonable pricing added to the overall satisfaction. A culinary haven for those seeking authentic and delectable Indian flavors."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Indian vegetarian food out here. The service was genuine and excellent. We ordered Samosa, Paneer tikka masala, vegetable korma, break basket, raita and chai. The samosas were fresh and tasty, but could have been a bit spicier and with less oil. The main items were flavorful and excellent. The breads were great, especially the onion kulcha. The raita was a bit runny, but still good. The chai was good too, as can be expected from most Indian places. Overall, we had a great experience at Mehfil Indian Bistro at incline village and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Indian vegetarian food. On our second visit we also tried pakoras (could’ve been more well done, but we’re good) and daal rice (and ice comes free with main course items)"

"We ordered Chicken Goan Curry with rice and a Garlic Naan. We both thought curry was rich in flavor and restauant uses dark meat chicken. On our most recent visit, we ordered Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice and a side order of Garlic Naan. Butter Chicken most almost too spicy hot for us but very flavorful."

"One of the rare Indian restaurants in the Lake Tahoe area. Pros: - Food was delicious - Plenty of vegetarian options. Cons: - The restaurant is under-staffed. The wait times are long even when the restaurant is sparsely populated. - The restaurant has a "certain smell". I would recommend getting takeout if the smell bothers you too much. - Food is pricey, be prepared to pay extra for the usual Indian items."
