Target Mobile

"Where to began. We recently came into the Chanhassen target to replace our phones. We worked with Garith and Phil and it’s clear to me some critical information was left out during the pre sales process. As someone who worked in retail mobile device sales it appears to me that some mistakes were made in this transaction. The first mistake was not getting enough information during pre sales. Almost all of us had 128 gb phones before we switched to ATT, from what it sounds like not once did the salesman verify to see what memory we currently had vs what he was looking to replace it with. As we all know trying to fit a 128gb iPhone backup onto a 64gb phone is just not going to work lol. We are now stuck with phones that we can’t even restore as the backup files are to large. Second off, it’s pretty clear that due diligence was not done in determining what devices were best suitable for replacement. For example, I have had the larger iPhone for the last 6 years and the Verizon Bill states that I currently have iPhone 11 Pro Max. Yet the phone we were sold is a standard size iPhone 12 pro. As you can imagine this is extremely disappointing and a big change. Lastly and this is my largest concern , is the fact that no one ever took the time to explain the modified return policy these mobile devices carry. Due to this we are now stuck with phones that do not work for us and ultimately we do not want. Another interesting note is the salesman we dealt with was not even aware of this rule himself. We called him on what would have been day 15 and he stated that all we had to do was bring our phones into a corporate ATT store and if any issues came up give them his store number and mobile device. To our surprise when we showed up ATT proceeded to tell us we were out of luck, and that the information we had received from the salesman from Target mobile chanhassen was a lie. I recommend taking the extra time and going to the real ATT store up the street as they actually know the rules and policies."
