Beach House

"This is a great spot to grab some grub on the South Lake Tahoe beach. It was a beautiful day and the outdoor patio was perfect, especially for my furry companion. I had the Pacific Reuben, as suggested by my waitress, and it was delicious! So were the fries! I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in the area."

"Stopped by for a quick drink on a September Saturday mid afternoon to find only 1 staff member hosting and waitressing for over 8 tables and a line of anticipating guests. After waiting 15 minutes, never getting to speak to anyone, Ieft. The piano ambience was soothing, the signage was good. They stated they are under new management and waiting for the license to serve alcohol. Also, this is the new menu, not the old one apparently on Google."

"Reviews about this restaurant were promising, however the online menu doesn’t match the menu presented at the restaurant. As you can imagine, that was disappointing. Our server was pleasant but not attentive. Requests were ignored or forgotten. The food was served quickly. If the restaurant was presented as a beach snack shack, it would have been great. Since expectations were higher than that, the food fell short. The Beach House was very clean and had nice views of the beach. Overall disappointed with what was presented online and what we actually experienced."

"This place is under new management so they aren’t able to serve alcohol. It was not busy. I had the Hawaiian Chicken. It was very good. We also got a cheeseburger- also very good. The fish and chips was a bit disappointing. Over all a cute place and food was good."

"We walked down to this restaurant when we were staying up the street at Harvey's because we wanted to eat on the water, and this place just happened to be close by. It's a very nice place, with respects to an outdoor dining establishment on the water. It encompasses the 'beach vibe' perfectly, not going over the top on elaborate amenities that take away from the Tahoe-esq aesthetics. It's basically just a big patio. There are sun shades adorning the tables, but again, they add to the atmosphere rather than take away from it. You order your food from a window by the bar, and you get your drinks from the bar directly. I didn't mind the self-service aspect because it was busy, and I'm guessing the service would've been slower than me just ordering for the two of us on my own. The food was ready rather quickly, which also enhanced the experience, since we had other plans later. We walked, thankfully, because parking is limited despite having a decent amount of spots. There's no real 'lined spots', people park all along the beach wall. There may have been a handicap post, but I'm not 100%. There's definitely handicap access, since the street runs on the same level as the restaurant (there's no curb)."
