"For fast food, this place is awesome. So consistent ! These guys have it down. Generous portions of great, fire-grilled chicken, great sides, all at a reasonable price. You can't beat El Pollo Loco at what they do."

"Good location. Food was good, little bit of confusion in the drive thru about what was ordered, but luckily we got it right before I drove off. The burritos are getting a little pricey for fast food, but overall, they're still good."

"1.20.24: This evening I was craving a tostada salad and hit the drive-thru before the dinner rush. I ordered the double chicken tostada salad and it was pretty fresh and hot. The tostada shell was light and airy and not thick or hard, where sometimes it stabs your mouth or gums lol. The chicken had a good grill on it and it was still tender. The greens were crisp and visually fresh. The beans and rice were proportionate to the amount of greens given as well. My favorite is to get the avocado salsa as my dressing because it gives it that good kind of kick that's not overly spicy. Service was prompt and they spoke clearly, which is always a plus going through the drive-thru."

"I normally love El Pollo Loco. They have delicious chicken and when I buy a family meal I can eat on it for a few days. I used to go to the one on Virginia near Plumb Ln in Reno. Never had a problem. But they keep discontinuing their BBQ black beans. Everytime they do I stop going. It's their best side. I decided to stop at the one on McCarren because I'm always looking to see if the brought the beans back. They have not. The chicken I received was so parched and dry. Mac n cheese was so so, corn was eh. I guess the best part was the friendly kid at the window drive thru. Really disappointed. Won't be back until they get the beans again."

"I got the pollo bowl for only five dollars plus tax so very reasonable. I bring my own bottle of water because I do not drink any sodas. You can save on a lot of sugar and calories if you do this. I go to pollo loco quite often and this is one of the more cleaner ones with good food. The bathrooms were clean to. This place is located about a quarter of a mile off of highway 80. I highly recommend coming here and getting a quick lunch or dinner for a reasonable price."
