"this is a quaint little park that is off the main roads so it quiet and peaceful if you want to come out and just walk the trails some evening. The trails around the park are nice and shaded, so if you come out during the summer it is a great place to get your walk on, in the heat of summer. And if I counted right, one full lap around both sides of the track is about a half of a mile, so you can definitely get your steps in quickly and not be overly exhausted. I can only guess that when there are games at this park that it might get kind of crowded as the parking lot does seem kind of small. the playground area is nice, but I wish they would put in a little more ground covering so that there isn't so much bare dirt and mud around (we happened to go right after a rain, and it was quite muddy all around). The location of the park (right near a police and fire station) makes it a safe place to come to without having to worry about your kids or their safety. I’m sure that we’ll be back again."
"Great park to walk your dogs or go for a walk by yourself or with family or friends. The trails are perfect for about a 15-20 minute walk, it’s not a big place but it’s perfect for what I need! There is always kids playing on the playground area but the areas are separated slightly so there is never any issue with kids crossing paths with my dogs! Highly recommend!"
"Great park with great atmosphere and shade for those that want to be outside without the sun bearing down. I go to use the walking trail and have always had polite and courteous interactions with everyone else. One full lap around both sides of the track is .5 of a mile, making it simple to keep track of distance for those that may not have a fitness watch or app. It is well maintained and kept up with. I don't have children personally, but there are always birthday parties and large groups at the pavilions that seem to have a great time! Best park in town in my opinion."
"My kids absolutely love this park, so many different things for kids to do and many different levels of playgrounds to play on!!"
"Nice park, many different options based on age. Slides swings and other things. Wheelchair access. Shaded Picnic tables. It's best not to go to one of the areas after it 1st rain but there are 2 areas your kids can still have at after it rains."
