"Thank God for this program! I had injured my back at work, and required surgery to correct the injured disc's. I was being covered by workers compensation, and had extreme difficulty being able to return to my physical job on a loading dock. I was nervous and feeling very frustrated on my first day, but the therapists at the St. Paul location guided me through a gradual process of proper lifting, strengthening, guidance, and motivation that brought me back to being able to feel like I am able to move forward! The work simulation was extremely helpful in bringing me back to being able to approach and succeed at the rigors of my job. "What a huge difference "work hardening" physical therapy made! They asked questions about what concerns/worries I had about doing my job after my surgery. They observe your current ability and go from there. They tailored my strengthening regime to my actual work activities.
