"First off - I highly recommend EMDR for anyone struggling with past trauma of any kind. I will definitely be looking for another EMDR trained provider to continue this journey. However, I cannot recommend Sheila. In our four sessions I found her to be misguided (old fashioned viewpoints), transphobic, had her shoving her religion at me as a single source of truth.. Oh and I had to repeat my (VERY difficult) answers to some very challenging intake questions because she forgot to click save during one of our sessions. That was a barrel of fun. I know it's slim pickings out there these days y'all, but trust me. Unless you're ok with all the above and more, go somewhere else."
