"I don’t write reviews. Perhaps this is how all clinics work - not a veteran of the counseling world. Charged a reasonable insurance copay and was told that was all I owed for the visit. Later was hit with a $300+ bill. Transparency is important and I did not find it here. I double checked and confirmed with the staff that my insurance covered the cost of the visit and still ended up this way. Overall the staff (therapists) seem great. However, the administration seems to care more about the dollars than the patients. Underhanded billing practices."

"I would strongly recommend that you triple check pricing before attending your appointment(s). I was told a price both by my insurance and counseling care, had my appointment and then was told I had to pay a higher amount. This was something I was very diligent about prior to my appointment and was important to me. I do not plan to attend another session since this feels like a very misleading business practice."

"My son was in over a year ago for a prescription refill. Instead of sending his bill for this appointment to his permanent address listed on his driver’s license and chart they sent it to his college. Well, he is not at college during the summer months so the bill went unpaid. A few days ago we got a demand from an attorneys office for $321.73. First notice that we, his Parent’s who insure him and pay his medical bills, received at our home address. The Attorney’s office confirmed the prior collection bills were being sent to his college address and not our home address. She contacted Counseling Care on our behalf to see if they would reduce the late fees and collection fees. Counseling Care denied a reduction even though they were at fault for billing the wrong address. I could not believe that they would do this. We will not do business with a Doctor’s office that operates like this and I suggest you think twice as well."

"Outstanding staff and helpful on all accounts. Switched to then over 2yrs ago and wish I had tried then sooner! Dr. Bachmann is incredibly professional and highly intelligent. If you are on the fence about switching doctors you will be glad you gave them a shot."
