"Made fat phobic comments. Made assumptions based on appearance and not actual history. For example, "don't just eat pizza, cookies, and ice cream", despite having already told staff I am on a low carb diet and absolutely no questions about what my diet entails. Explained that exercise was activity where I don't just "barely move my feet." Also made comments alluding that overweight people just eat all day long. Asked me if I prepare my own food (I'm a fully grown adult) and when I respond affirmatively saying, "good so you can control what you eat." Told me not to "beat yourself up" and went on a tirade with a facade of kindness. Spoke to me as though I were ignorant or ill-informed. Essentially blaming me for the death of my infant child which upon asking where he got his assumptions found out that my medical records contain inaccurate information. He also lied about discussion he said he had with me upon review of his visit notes and did not inform me of certain recommendations he would be making to my primary caregiver. I would never suggest this physican to anyone that has suffered a child loss, dealt with disordered eating or does not have an optimal BMI."
