"I wish I could give a negative review. This company deserves no stars. We first had Epic come out to look at our system because it wasn't keeping things cool. They came to us through the home warranty. They told us that there was a piece that needed to be replaced and the home warranty would cover part of it but not all of it, and really the whole system needed to be replaced, so hey they'd throw us a bone and cut us a good deal on a new system. I told them I can't afford a new system, we went back and forth, finally they agreed to replace the part. It took them a long time to actually do the work because they kept forgetting to order the part. They then came out again for another issue with cooling. This time they told us the whole unit needed to be replaced, but that the home warranty wouldn't cover it, but again, they could get us a heck of a deal. Well, we called the home warranty company and lo and behold, Epic reported to them that our unit was in fine working condition. This most recent time, we went through our home warranty company again because our hvac wasn't blowing any heat. We got one estimate for a total replacement from one company, then Epic comes out and gives us a replacement quote, and they turn off our heat because "it's leaking carbon monoxide," well nobody has said that before and I have a carbon monoxide detector which has not registered any carbon monoxide. So now my daughter, who is 2, has had to sleep in my bed every night for a week because there's no heat in her bedroom. We just had a third company come out to give us a quote, I asked if we could turn the system on to see if it genuinely was leaking carbon monoxide, according to them, whatever the last technician did to the system broke it and it will take hours to fix. I am done with this company, they are terrible, they are liars, and they aren't even good at their job. Do not trust them AT ALL."
"They did a 9.5hr job om my AC/heating unit. The 2 guys were very nice and they worked hard but unfortunately when I went to turn my heat on it would not run. I did call Epic and they sent James out same day. James came in and found the issue in 5.2 seconds and fixed it just as fast. He restored my spirit because I was on the verge of frustration... he did an awesome job as well as the other guys who came out the 2 previous times. Somethings was just missed on the 9.5hr job and it's a possibility they were just tired and we all make mistakes. But all and all service was great!! Would definitely recommend !!"
"My 89 year old mother called EPIC for a unit they installed in 2017. After several EPIC team member on two different visits came they determined she need the following. 5 duct runs, 1return run, air exchange unit, and a new line set. After a price was set she agreed and set an install date. Last Friday (July 29th) an EPIC team shows up to began work. After what she thought was completed work she paid EPIC in full. The next day she noticed the upstairs unit was not cooling. Upon further investigation by her grandson who came over he noticed 2 of the 5 ducts were not blowing any air out. Her grandson then went into the attic to see if there was something he might be able to do and found that none of the duct runs that she paid for were done even though the EPIC team told her they had replace them all. He also noted that they hand not run a new set line which she also paid for. EPIC was called again to come back and do the work they had received payment for on Friday. Shameful that a company would take advantage of our elderly charging for work that the EPIC team knew they did not do. The last photo shows what they came back to do after we sent the photos of they sorry non work completed. Now for 3 days I’ve been trying to get model number and serial numbers for the unit without success.. we will not be doing business with corrupt HVAC companies."
"Both technicians Nick and Rick were respectful and kind. Questions l had were answered and explained in very knowledgeable detail. Workmanship was done with great precision. All debris was picked up and areas serviced were cleaned back to its normal condition. Excellent experience! Thank you! : )"
