"The eye Dr and the two people I worked with to find my glasses were so kind, professional and helpful, I will definitely go back and refer all my family and friends to the optical dept at the Costco in maple grove (and my appt was the day before thanksgiving)!"

"Dr. Tim Nelson has been my eye doc for many years. He is extremely thorough, meticulous in every detail, and uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment. I trust him more than the clinic that did my cataract surgery! When I had a minor eye injury, he had me come in immediately and treated it promptly. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye exams. It's unfortunate the eyeglass sales area has gotten some bad reviews for poor service but if you go during off-peak hours there is no problem and they stand behind their products/service. I buy my frames elsewhere and get my lenses there for the huge savings."

"My mom wanted to choose her frames here. I took her and we tried on many frames trying to figure out if they were arranged by size or brand or whatever (she has a small head). No one who wotked in the optical department acknowledged ys. Eventually we chose a frame that seemed to fit. Found someone to irder with. Was told 7-10 days. My mom is over 80 and doesnt check her voice-mail so i called to see if thry were reasy after a week. The person who answered asked me if we had gotten a call and i said no. His response was a curt "well then thats probably your answer. " I was dumbfounded. The staff need more training And then more training. And then one more round of training before being allowed to interact with customers."

"What happened to my review?????? I had a detailed review and it was removed. Fine. I will re-do it. I used to love going to Costco Optical. Multiple rounds of glasses. The person who does eye exams is great. Getting glasses there is not. I now have three pairs I can't stand and am ordering some somewhere else. The whole experience was unpleasant and I am having issues with my glasses, including one that rips my hair out on a regular basis."

"I have to give a huge shout out to Tim my sons eye doctor and mine now as well… seeing to the fact that I turned 50!!! I appreciated the fact that he rememberers me over the years with my son, but I also appreciated the fact that he yelled across to tell me what a wonderful son I have(TY my son is so sweet and good to momma)because my son paid for my appointment for my 50th birthday present!!! Great guy!! I would recommend him to anybody!! Thanks Tim!!!"
