"Bought my St Paul Chamber orchestra tickets here. Then I went downstairs and bought tickets to the Park Square theater. All inclusive place, across from the park and the landmark building"
"Historic preservation at its best. just got to check out the details on the trim of this beautiful building in Saint Paul's down town nearing the landmark center an rice park area, lovely shops around the area, an the skyway is close by case it's a typical minnesota day (freezing) nice place for any who like architecture."
"It's a historic building in downtown st. Paul. There are a few shops to look around. The hat store is interesting to visit. You can try on a few different hats or just look around in awe. There's some places to eat and drink as well."
"The Hamm Buiding is just one of several historic buildings that surround Rice Park in St. Paul. It was built in 1915 by the Hamm family as headquarters for their brewery and other businesses. Today the building, is the home to several street level businesses, restaurants, shops as well as a theater and Jazz club in the lower level. The rest of the floors are occupied by offices and specialized businesses. The limestone, terra cotta and brick facade is quite striking and begs the passerby to stop and look a little closer. The main entrance is inviting, but not as ornate as one would expect when the super rich of St. Paul tried to out due each other in their homes and business headquarters."
