I'm not sure I would bring young kids on the bus tour as it does last longer and has a lot of grown up talk."

"The Wabasha Street Caves are a unique and fascinating place to visit. The caves were originally mined in the 1800s, and later became a mushroom farm and a gangster hideout during Prohibition. Today, the caves are open for tours and special events. The tours are led by knowledgeable guides who tell the stories of the caves' history. Visitors learn about the miners who worked in the caves, the mushroom farmers who grew mushrooms there, and the gangsters who used the caves as a hideout. The tours are also full of ghost stories and legends, which add to the caves' mystique."

"An interesting side excursion if you are visiting St Paul. A bit out of the way - I walked from downtown - but parking is available. On a hot day the caves were super chilly and refreshing. The tour makes the visit worthwhile. Ellie gave the tour with enthusiasm, even singing in moments. The ambiance inside is a bit dated - think “1970s cave / mobster wedding”. Tour lasts an hour and is certainly worth $10 - less than one beer at the Xcel center."
