"I used IST when I lived in Monticello a few years ago, and even when I moved to Mankato for a couple years. Nick was amazing to work with, he gave me reasonable quotes and was very easy to work with when needing renters and auto insurance, he had answers to all my questions. I cancelled my policy when moving to Texas for 1 year. I moved back a couple months ago, and reached out to IST again to set up another policy. Bethany helped me out, but the quote I received for auto insurance for the same vehicle I had before was $500 more. It should be cheaper, now that my car is older, not nearly twice as much. I emailed nick, who I found out is no longer with them, about why it would be so much more expensive and my email went through Karen. She told me she'd figure it out. Then I received an email from Bethany who said it was due to me receiving a discount when I had renters. A $500 discount for adding renters insurance? Doubtful. My car is a 2013, insurance should not be that much for liability. I am guessing the quote I received was not for liability only (which i had last time and is probably in the system), but the fact they couldn't put two and two together when I asked why it was so much more expensive is alarming in itself. Will not be working with them again, I quickly found a quote for HALF the price elsewhere."

"Cancelled both of my polices I had threw them as I moved to North Carolina.. come to find out they never updated my address from one I had to homes ago so when it came to be issued the refund for those polices the check was sent somewhere I haven’t lived in 5 years.. also took them two days to cancel the policies which resulted in my account be debited for premiums I should not have had to pay. If you going to get insurance find agent with one company they will take care of you a lot better then an independent that can’t even write up a simple cancellation form.. which from experience having sold and serviced insurance policies for over year takes literally 5 minutes. Now I’m out 300 dollars while I talk with the insurance company to get my money back… would never send anyone here EVER"
