"Counting down the days until our lease is up - this place is so neglectful. Do not recommend. This is going to be a long post so if you don't want to read it all there are issues with management, maintenance, property safety, heating issues, and honestly more. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The community spaces are absolutely awful. Any building outside the one right next to the leasing office is just so dirty. Floors stained, shotty lighting, people leaving so much trash in the hall by the trash chute. Our buildings elevator has been out of service for months now. The fitness center is decent but the benches are dangerous to use (I have found loose or missing screws multiple times) and sometimes the cardio machines just don't work or stop working mid exercise. The outdoor firepit just doesn't work - like at all. The package room is so frustrating. Most couriers don't know where it is and there is no signage on the leasing office door letting them know where to go. I have had multiple situations where my packages were sent back to mailer because of this. In addition our mailbox was without a lock on it for a whole month.. so our mail was just out and about to the public. And when that was "fixed" they changed the actual lock so our key no longer worked and they didn't give us a new key for like a week. My buildings side entrance had a railing break off from the insane amount of rust on the railing right before winter and it was not replaced until a couple weeks ago, and I think it was only replaced because there were inspections coming up... so we went all winter with no railing on our stair entry to the building. We were lucky we didn't have much ice this year, but the days we did were honestly dangerous, especially given that the stairs are on a hill. On top of that there was no lighting on that entrance (is lighting but the bulbs out) until the inspections as well. The guy who "fixed" this broke the glass covering and it wasn't cleaned up for days - a lot of kids and pets live in this building so that was crazy to see. When we moved in our apartment was not ready at all, and they decided to tell us that an hour before our appointment with them to get keys, saying that there was a delay in cleaning. Come to find out it was not cleaning it was that a bathroom shower needed to be redone completely that involved gutting the walls and reinstalling a shower. The outside contractor was very efficient and was there within a couple days and said there was definitely mold in my walls. They said that our maintenance crew would have to mud/sand/paint the walls to complete the remodel. I was unable to use my shower for almost two months after this! They said they "didn't know they needed to finish the bathroom" and when they came in it was unannounced and their mudding and sanding RUINED many of my personal belongings that I had to replace. It isn't even finished to this day (paint) and we moved in in August. On top of the bathroom - there were multiple issues with our unit on move in, faulty weather seals on our windows and patio door allowed SO MANY bugs including wasps into our unit - my roommate and I are allergic. Come winter our heating was absolutely terrible - we would have to crank the heat just to get it to 60 degrees in our apartment. The maintenance crew would be so condescending to us making sure we were heating our unit correctly. One even told us to TURN THE OVEN ON!! We had minimum 5 maintenance people in our unit and it wasn't even fixed. We had to use space heaters most of the winter just make it livable. If you made it this far I hope the message is clear - just don't do it , it isn't cheap enough to merit these flagrant issues. I have lived other places for cheaper and it was no where near this bad."
"RUNNNN FROM THIS PLACE!!! just had a leak from a fire sprinkler suppression system!! This place is just straight up NEGLIGENCE!! For the months that I had lived there, until the leak kicked us out of our apartment, we had asked maintenance soooo many times to fix our stove because our oven smoked so bad it set off fire alarms and only one burner worked. They would come in, tell us to burn off the cleaning chemicals or the grease (whichever excuse they felt like saying) and just leave!! We couldn't make any food in our apartment because they refused to fix our stove!! We tried to burn everything off but it never stopped smoking or setting off fire alarms!! Not to mention, this is the same complex I got my car broken into and TOTALED. This place has taken EVERYTHING from me!! Now our couch, bed, and clothes and so many other things are ruined from the flood. As many of the other reviews say, the entrance door to 1401 was broken for MONTHS so anyone could walk in the apartments. And yes, there was always trash laying outside of the chute due to it always getting filled up. I never used the garage but I did notice it was broken for a very long time where any car or person could just walk into it the garage. Got my car towed for 300+ dollars after my car was broken into because I got rental car and they were closed for the day so I couldn't get a pass.. They wouldn't pay for that either. I really don't think I could have had a worse experience living on my own.. PLEASE do not rent here! Erin is doing the best she can but this place is just a lost cause.."
"My entire apartment flooded with waste water due to their faulty plumbing. Management did absolutely nothing to help me and ghosted my insurance company for almost a week. They offered zero assistance in helping me move to another unit, forcing me to be literally HOMELESS for 19 days until I could hire movers. They refused to fix the toilet to make the unit legally inhabitable until I was able to move. Personal damages totaled over $800 and management refused to reimburse anything that was lost or damaged and insisted they were also the victims. Water damage in the ceiling and walls was reported weeks before the entire unit was flooded and they did not inspect it. A maintenance person pooped in the broken toilet and threw away towels that I owned without my consent. Do not move here. I am not the first person this has happened to and I will not be the last. This is a bad place to live and it's very unfortunate that due to these circumstances I was forced into another year long lease in a much smaller unit with The Felix and Peak Living. Leasing staff is incredible, but the management will absolutely find every single way to screw you over when their building inevitably has another mishap of their own faults. DON'T MOVE HERE. Update from 8 months later: The new unit they forced me to move into, in an entirely different building, also flooded. Sprinkler line this time. Don't move here."
"Would give it 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend has lives here and I am a frequent visitor. There have been endless issues in the 3 years he's lived here. To start, the lock on the entrance to the building has been broken for WEEKS. Residents have been propping the door open -- which isn't great security for those living in the building. Management has done nothing to fix the issue, much like everything else that goes wrong here. My boyfriend had a leak in his bathroom for weeks before anything was done, and then there was a gaping hole in the ceiling for at least 6 months... until the next leak started and required attention. That gaping hole was there for at least a month and thankfully was over the shower where a VOLE landed. Why is there a vole in the ceiling??? Finally weeks later both holes were patched, but the rod to his shower was broken and remains broken. And to round things out, the heat/AC never works well. The only thing that keeps him there is the somewhat affordable rent and flexible lease while he saves to buy a house. Can't wait until he moves out!!!"
"Do not live here the management does not care about their tenants I had multiple packages stolen from the mailroom and in the lobby where amazon drivers get confused and put them in the buildings of the apartments and not the mailroom. Either way they get stolen and i was told that its amazons problem not the tenants that are stealing them. Amazon does not cover pckages that are stolen after a certain amount of them, which leads to hundreds of dollars that were unrefundable.. plowing the parking lot was so terrible during the winter i witnessed a couple accidents in my lot and people did not know how to park properly . On top of that they waited for it to snow again numerous times before they plowed because whoever is in charge of that is lazy and wanted to cut corners cost wise. I had multiple instances where i can back from work/gym and had to wait outside for an hour because someone pulled the fire alarm (firefighters could never find a fire) and nobody could go into the apartment until they figured out what was happening. I could sit and write about multiple orher incidents but overall it was a terrible experience living here. They have patios for most rooms but no key to unlock it from the outside, but a key lock on both sides. How does that make sense. Blinds were broken when we got into the apartment, along with garbage all over the patio from the previous tenants. Way too expensive for the quality of the apartments , especially considering how the management treats its residents. My hallway in particular had been flooded with water multiple times, and a couple times nothing was done about it until the day after. Do not live here"
