Millennium at West End

"I am one of the longest standing residents at Millenium. What has kept me there is the location and the cleaning and maintenance staff. Also, moving is a pain. However, over time the building has deteriorated. The garage door breaks consistently. The garbage bins and chutes aren’t routinely cleaned, so we have had fruit fly problems 2 summers in a row. Also, the staff turnover has been comical at best. 4 property managers - one was fired for not maintaining the building for a higher bonus and severe mistreatment of other staff. 4 leasing agents - one was fired for being drunk on the job. This isn’t the worst part. The worst part is that the property management company’s policies slow down all repairs. The pool didn’t open until a month after MemorialDay when the pool was identified for repair by the inspector the previous fall. Most recently, our water softener went out. My dishes as well as my neighbors are all watched beyond repair. When I reached out for reimbursement of my damaged property, I was told it was my dishes, and to hand wash my items. I pay a premium for amenities and won’t not use my dishwasher for over 6 months. It has been that long. Also, when escalating to the area manager, I got no response. So both the property and area manager of VillageGreen will not talk to me. Don’t live somewhere where the property management isn’t to be trusted. It can ruin a nice building. All of the good, original tenants have left in the past year, which is largely due to the decline of the building and staff."

"It is unfortunate that the modern review system allows for retaliation against solid businesses when the reviewer is clearly in the wrong. In the case of the most recent review by Mr Egan, he was repeatedly walking his dogs on Millenium property without a leash. His dogs would run up to my dogs wanting to play while Mr Egan was a hundred yards away on his cell phone. Since my dogs aren’t that friendly to other dogs, and I was afraid they would bite his dogs, I repeatedly asked him to keep his dogs on a leash, a request he ignored. My wife and I have lived in the Millenium apartments for almost a year. We have loved living here. The complex has a great resident culture, they keep the complex and grounds impeccably clean and they continue to upgrade and improve the amenities. The location couldn’t be better with a host of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. And most of all Troy and the management team are courteous, polite and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I just bought a house but if we ever had to move back to apartment living, this is where we would go. We have really enjoyed our time here."

"Millennium has been a great place to live! The pool and gym are awesome amenities (weather and Covid restrictions permitting, haha) and the management and maintenance staff are super helpful and friendly. I also particularly enjoy the huge windows and balcony doors which let in a flood of natural light. Add that you can walk to the grocery store in about two minutes, and it's a really nice choice!"
