"Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't rent here unless you would like to just throw away your deposit. They will find a speck of lint or dust, smudge or anything they can to avoid refunding your damage deposit. I was docked for not cleaning the top side of the LR fan blades. I would not have thought of this, as I cleaned the bottoms, ends and sides - just didn't think about the tops and they reached above the blades and took a photo. They probably didn't clean them, just took the photo. When asked why a list wasn't provided, to give me an idea for what was expected to be cleaned, I was told there should have been one provided upon move in. There was not; just a list saying what the charges would be for repairs. I moved in when the apartment was new - there was sawdust in every cabinet and much of the floor and door trim was banged up. While I did take photos of the trim, I should have taken photos of the cabinets before I cleaned them. Maybe then I could have charged them a cleaning fee..."

"When we first moved in, pricing was competitive. But after our first year it jumped a lot. At the time we moved to Big Lake, it seemed to be the best option for apartments. Now some new buildings have popped up, so I don't know how they compare. We moved out because of moving to another town. Kim the manager is great, she is attentive, and makes sure no shenanigans occur that would be detrimental to people living here."

"Hopefully you will not make me he same mistake I did and rent here. The manager has disappointed me from start to finish. She said she would have to review the CCTV and find out who was not collapsing their boxes for recycling and fine them. She forced me to pay for a month of rent because I didn’t let her know I would be moving out in time. I ended up needing to give 90 days notice because I missed the deadline by 23 hours. When she did my final inspection she was so picky about normal wear and tear that I will not get my deposit back unless I take her to court. While moving out I was approached by other tenants who had similar complaints about the management. Not worth it! Management is not the only thing wrong. Walls were too thin. Heard everything in the neighbor’s living room next to our bedroom. Think long and hard before you rent here! So happy to have found a new place to live! I recommend looking into Our Area Homes. The management is unbelievably helpful and gracious!"

"Kim is a wonderful manager. She is very dedicated to her role and very hard working. She was always very flexible and willing to work with us when we moved in and moved out. The building is well maintained and very quiet. We never had a problem with noise or rude neighbors. The pool is always very clean. The grounds are well maintained as well. I would recommend prairie lakes management and station street apartments to anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean, and friendly place to live."
