"DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!. Working with swmhp puts your house/property at risk. Even IF they inspect the work being done under their contract, they won't stop the work or tell you that your getting poor workmanship. I called them out to inspect poor workmanship, I didn't know how bad it was , they didn't inform me and they paid the contractors knowing the work was not done to code. I had my project manager and 3 other of their managers come out and look at workmanship, not one of them pointed out the numerous and obvious (to anyone trained in construction trades) poor workmanship and code violation. Basically they did not provide any project management to me, but did me a disservice that is costing me more money, loans to repair because they didn't manage my job or contractors. I would have been better off if I never contacted them or used there loan program. (Litterally, the wording in the loan the drafted says if I don't maintain my home, the loan holder can take my home. SWMHP is causing me to have to that more loan"s to repair the damages caused by the job they "managed", the damages not caused by poor work but not covered by contractor's insurance. The contractors insurance only covers the replacement of poorly installed materials, it does not cover damages created by the poor workmanship, My walls & ceiling are cracking due to water infiltration. cold air comes through the window installation. My house is less energy efficient. I can't stay warm in my house. I now have mold. the contractor pulled the existing flashing where roof meets dormer and bay Windows, he intentionally caused harm to my home. He did not create a weather resistant barrier, per code, the contractor also installed the insulation wrong side out. If Swmhp knows code, which they should as project managers than swmhp knew that code was not fallowed when they paid the contractor (and didn't tell me, effectively covering up code violations) This agency does not work for you!!!! This agency writes the loan paperwork to protect them selves from being held accountable for the managing the job you hire them to manage. They do not manage your job and they help distroy your property by covering up code violations. Writing up a scope of work and the loan only is not managing your job. Don't be fooled, they do not work for you and doing business with them put's your investment in your property at risk. They are not helping low-income families or housing be more affordable by allowing poor workmanship and covering it up. They don't help you create a more affordable housing they create more costly housing for you and distroy what you've worked so hard to get-together a home. Doing business with swmhp has turned my life into a 5 year (so far) night mare and they have no accountability. They do the opposite of helping people and low income home owners, they help distroy the private homes of the low income. I quess that's one way to insure there's a waiting list for Their rental property. Make you wonder how healthy thier rental property is to live in, doesn't it. They are not spending tax payers money wisely, as they are administering government loan with low or no intrest loans, so tax payers money."
