"I'll be honest, the reviews about rude employees scared me. I walked in expecting to be ignored or huffed at for needing a pool test done. Completely opposite experience from what I was expecting. I have only good things to say about the woman who helped me today. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. I will be back again!"
"I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. I purchased a small net for skimming debris out of my pool. It was very flimsy, warped, and just generally very cheaply made. It was $20, so I decided to return it a day later. I took the item back, with my receipt, picked up another $100 worth of chemicals and went to return it and checkout. The dark haired guy working the counter started asking me if anything was wrong with it. I told him not anything other than it’s just cheap and flimsy and I’m not happy with it. He started fumbling around with a placard on the counter to see what their return policy is, because clearly he had no clue. He said he wasn’t sure if he could take it back, because he might lose his job. I told him it clearly states on my receipt that I can return it for any reason if I’m not satisfied as long as it’s in “like new” condition, which it clearly was. He refunded my money by taking that amount off of the much larger purchase I was making and I exited the store. As I’m putting the other purchases in my car, he comes running out of the store yelling at me that the net had been used. Duh, yeah I dipped it in the water once to scoop debris and could tell I was not going to be satisfied with it long term, hence the reason for returning it, as I had said. He must have been having a bad day/life or something because he then told me I’m not ever welcome at this store again and started flipping me off, which I have video of, because I was just ignoring him and his ranting. I have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment and chemicals at this store but trust me, he didn’t need to ban me from there, as I would never step foot in there again anyway. What a disgusting employee to treat a great customer in this manner. Good riddance dude!"
"My wife has had nothing but bad experiences at this Leslie's. Stopped shopping from this branch 2 years ago. Made the mistake of trying them again. Very aggressive rude staff. Order online and learn to read a test kit."
"I went there today and girl with dark hair and glasses had wonderful customer service. Really helped me. The other blonde haired girl was nice at first but then when I got what I wanted she ripped it away and babbled something. I got what I wanted that's why I walked up to the counter to pay for it. That's the obvious. And she said no this is not what you want and grabbed something else. I hesitated and honestly she made it so uncomfortable. I picked out what I freaking wanted. And I'm the customer. I understand on paper she says that one product is better than the other. I don't care. She could've just advised me or something like that. and then while ringing it up I was trying to look at that product that she's forcing upon me and she started getting very irritated because I didn't run my card quickly enough. i've generally had good experiences here but I don't really like the whole control thing. And she made it a bad experience."
"I was only one in there. There were several workers and no one said can I help you. When I asked for an item they pointed both times. Girl at register was pretty unbelievable. Bill was 75.51 and I paid cash. I said I have a penny and she said I have to give you what register says. Couldn’t even figure out that 50 change not 49. Won’t be back. Only went because was handy. Really poor customer service and I am a business owner er and know what good is."
