"Just had our baby boy here and I could not be happier with the experience I had. The nurses were amazing. So kind, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable. The doctors were great too. I was diverted here from Fairview Southdale and was a little skeptical but my experience was incredible. I would deliver here again. Beyond grateful for the wonderful experience I had!"
"Nurses were incredible and so supportive throughout labor, delivery, and recovery!"
"I've had three babies here in the last 5+ years and am about to have another one here. Can't wait! I've had nothing but wonderful experiences each time. Caring and attentive nurses. Good food even! Coming here to have a baby is my favorite date to go on with my husband."
"Labor and delivery experience was great. I had a C section that went smoothly with no complications and all the nurses were great BUT After surgery and recovery I was moved to the postnatal area- that recovery was the worst experience I have ever had. I did not have anyone that could stay overnight with me. All the nurses said the nursery was closed so less than 12 hours out of a major surgery I was expected to get out of bed to take care of a newborn. I delivered at Fairview ridges 10 years ago with our first child and it was a night and day experience- 10 years ago the nurses were attentive, caring and supported my recovery. This time was nothing like that- you’re better off recovering at home. The recovery at ridges hurt me more than it helped me. It was traumatic and no support unless I was crying and begging for support because my body couldn’t take it. I will never deliver again there. Anyone that expects some after support care shouldn’t either. Their nursery is closed- but there is constantly a dozen nurses sitting at the nurses station. They say their nursery is closed because of Covid but other hospitals still have nursery support for you and your baby. Because of the trauma of those 2 days alone in the hospital trying to recover with no support other than coming in every could hours with medicine when I got home I had so much anxiety. Never again."
