"I will never rent from any gold mark properties again. When we moved in the whole place smelled like dog and it looked like no one came in to clean after the previous tenants left. No one offered to come in and clean nor would they tell us if the carpet got cleaned before move in. While there our garage got broken into, mail got stolen and mail got stuck in the lock boxes by the leasing office. No one cleans up their dogs poop and our upstairs neighbor would drop cigarettes, food and trash off the balcony while our dog was outside."

"Honestly, this post isn’t so much about Lakecrest but more of goldmark overall. I have lived here for 2+ years and not quite because I chose to. I plan to never rent through Goldmark ever again once this Lease is up. They do not care about their residents and just what will get them more money. Whether it is raising rent whenever it is possible, raising laundry prices even when they switched venders that have continually to fail and have problems and leave the residents without being able to fully do their laundry, maintenance between units or their sites themselves. Honestly, I have been nothing but disappointed through them over and over again."

"I've lived here since August of 2020. I've never been a problematic tenant nor have I had to reach out to the office much. I sent an email a few days before the 60 day cut off because I decided to move. I didn't hear anything back nor did anyone answer my calls for another couple days. Once I finally got ahold of someone they said my notice was improper therefore didn't count. This was after them stating they didn't even receive my email but when I brought in time stamped proof they still denied it. I decided whatever I'll stay another year so I told them I'd resign my lease....over a month ago. My lease ended on Aug 31st of this year and it is not September 24th and I still don't have my new lease drafted up. Office staff is rude, unprofessional, and virtually impossible to get ahold of unless you continually call 3+ times in a row or are okaybwith waiting 2 weeks for an email reply."

"LakeCrest is a great place to live. Its affordable, the people are friendly, the staff are great and it a nice quiet location. I moved away for a year and ended up coming back because I loved it so much. I have been back for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. Julie in the office helped me along the way and from day one she has always worked hard to provide the best service to potential residents AND current residents."

"We have lived at Lake Crest for 13 months and have loved it! The office staff is super helpful, the maintenance staff do great work. Our base heater went out in the beginning of winter and they were at our apartment right away to fix it. The snow removal is great and they give us a couple days notice to make sure cars are out of the way. The noise level in the neighborhood in general is quiet. We needed a place where there wasn't so much noice and this is perfect. We have a nice big deck which is perfect for the summer months! All and all we are happy with the staff and would recommend to anyone looking for a new place!"
