"Did not address concerns in the appointment. Was not heard. Would not recommend for autism testing. Did not have current information. This is a review on Sanford's website that I agree with. Posted in August 2023 I feel as if the doctor didn't listen to what I was saying. She looked at my daughter and the fact that she's "smart" and completely disregarding the fact that we struggle daily with melt downs specifically related to sensory issues, and rigidity. Additionally I felt as if we were rushed during the appointment (front desk had issues checking us in) the paperwork suggested it would be a 3 hour appointment but the doctor was walking out the door to her next patient when I still had questions and concerns. Her only solution was to have me ignore and abandon my daughter when she's clearly in a time of need. Or a therapy that trains parents and child that their relationship is compliance based versus connection. Her meltdowns are not do to defiance or being a bad kid like she suggested it's neurological. Granted my daughter isn't going to display these behaviors in front of a stranger let alone in a short hour and half of meeting her but like I stated the doctor didn't take the time to listen but instead based her opinion on a few games and tests which are things my daughter is great at. Needless to say I am beyond disappointed in this doctor and if she's the standard then I will never recommend this location to any other family looking for help and guidance when their child is in need."
