Infusion Center

"I do not recommend this infusion center at all. I would give them -5 stars if I could for their lack of professionalism. I’ve been throwing up every 30 mins non-stop for 3 days and getting pretty dehydrated. My doctor sent an order over for a one-time infusion. This infusion center was supposed to call me once they received the order, which they did receive the order and didn’t call me. When I called them to check up on it, they said my doctor didn’t specify if it was a one-time thing so I was instructed to call the doctor back myself and provide my doctor with instruction on how to re-write the order. So, I complied even though I felt the infusion center should be the one to communicate that message to my doctor. My doctor sent in the order again, the girl who enters the order couldn’t be bothered to understand the urgency of the issue. She has to take her sweet time while I’m puking my brains out every 30 mins. My doctor resent the order at 9:30am and the infusion center entered the order in at 3:30pm. Yes, they called me 6 hours later letting me know they now have the order entered in and I can schedule my appointment. Why would I trust a clinic to poke me in the arm when they take 6 hours to type in an order?!?! Forget that! I’m going somewhere else. Very little sympathy from the staff for people who are waiting to get an infusion. I normally don’t leave negative reviews like this but I’m hoping someone in the position to lead change is reading and either retraining or hire staff who actually care about their job."

"Management aggressively and openly discriminates against patients with mental health conditions. They reserve the desirable appointment times for patients with certain diagnoses over others, and they vigorously discourage patients with mental health issues from seeking treatment at their clinic at all. Time for new management! Fairview should be held accountable for knowingly allowing and even condoning this behavior: this is 21st century USA, and discrimination is illegal not just immoral. This is completely unacceptable!"
