"I was a kid that went there and my experience was traumatic. I could write a book with everything that was messed up there. Especially the staff. Most of the time the staff acted inappropriately. The one I think about the most is when a kid managed to sneak a cigarette into the facility and stashed in the bathroom, then when staff found it they had to strip search all the kids. I’m not talking about registered nurses or anything doing this. You can get a job there simply by applying on indeed. This lady came into the room where me and the other girls were, takes her vinyl glove and pulls it over her hand while doing a little finger dance and says “who’s first?”. Another found memory of this place, I was having a mental breakdown while sitting in the cafeteria area and they sent me to talk to a counselor.… the counselor gas-lit and told me to “stop crying, I want to go home and see my wife and kids.” Top tier moment was when one of the kids managed to steal a workers car and runaway. Do not send your kids here, it will only make their problem worse."

"My wife and I are very impressed with the staff at Anthony Louis Center. Not much room to type via my android and invading keyboard...so, briefly....Tasha...very straightforward, polite and understanding. Ruth...so sweet, empathetic and knows all the right questions to ask. Jen Roe (education)...the best way to describe...if I was scrolling through channels on TV looking for something to watch...I would stop on her channel. Fantastic staff!!"

Smh Jack must be telling ppl to place these reviews because if anyone is rating this place a 4star or more? They are lying! Look up the DHS reports! This place is terribleeeeeee. From housing, to feeding the kids, to actual treatment to the turnover rate of employees. Don’t get me started on dir Jack and his puppet Nicole. VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and MONEY HUNGRY! Your child deserves better. Do not send them here. Especially if they aren’t white!"
