"I have been going to this clinic my whole adult life (close to 19 years?) I have loved Dr Jeffers and haven’t really had any issues... UNTIL NOW. I had a preventative visit in June. I booked it as a preventative assuming it would ALL be covered by my insurance. They took blood-I even asked to make sure this was all preventative blood work and they said yes. A month later, I get a bill for over $300! I called and they told me “since you have talked about your past, it’s no longer a preventative visit” and that if I only wanted preventative care I need to “tell the Dr that when you get there that this is only preventative and don’t answer questions that aren’t preventative” WHAT???? My dr knows my entire life-how do I NOT answer those questions? Oh, simple (in their minds)-just stop the professional and refuse to answer the questions. Easy, right?! So my bill that I got charged me for a preventative Dr visit $450 some AND an office visit-not preventative for $471! So in the 30-40 min I was there, they charged me for 2 dr visits! I also was given a new medication and needed a phone visit to make sure it was going ok and that 10 min phone call was over $200. I am currently waiting to hear back from the billing department after I have objected to pay my bill. If they adjust it-as they SHOULD, I will change my review. If they don’t, I will never go back and will continue to steer people away from this money hungry office. EDITED TO ADD: I am still receiving bills in the mail to pay the visit that I’m objecting. I had another phone call with them in September that they recorded and told me they would now talk to my Dr to see if that indeed is what happened. I also had concerns of a lump in my armpit and I knew I would never go back to Fairview so I went to a different clinic and within the first 5 minutes of a breast exam the dr noticed worrisome spots…so my doctor that I’ve had all these years and just saw in June never felt anything, but this doctor found something immediately! I went to get a mammogram and there are indeed spots in my breast tissue. The radiologist was so confused why the precious doctor never thought to have me come in for a baseline mammogram due to these spots. GOOD QUESTION!! I’ve dropped the stars to one because I can’t give zero."

"Easy to schedule, staff were exceptional and Dr Fischer goes above and beyond! When I have any questions, if they don't immediately have the answer they get back to me quickly. I'm not waiting months and months for an appointment like other places. The clinic is clean and beautifully designed. I come from St. Paul to Edina."

"I’m in the process of taking legal action against one of the gynecologists here after she informed me she had removed all of my disease and didn’t actually remove any more than a few centimeters of it. It spread to my bowels, diaphragm, vagina, rectum, and everywhere in my reproductive organs which caused me to need to remove my fallopian tubes and appendix then a few months later, as well as have all of the disease removed and have my bowel resected. All because she was negligent. She was paid to do a surgery that she never actually did. I tried reporting this doctor to which I was told I would hear back in 2 weeks from them. It’s now been several months and I have heard nothing. This place continues to put themselves down a further hole by not responding to patients who have serious complaints against negligent doctors. She also kept me on a very dangerous medication for months longer than I was supposed to be on them which caused my condition to get worse. I truly believe the reason this place is still running is because they don’t take patient complaints seriously and out right ignore them / obviously don't actually report them to people who are in charge."

"Was seen here 4-5 times in the past 2 years for annual exams and treatment of two ongoing conditions but did not have a good experience with anyone in this clinic. There was the ultrasound tech who made an unprofessional comment after my last scan, an unsympathetic nurse practitioner and physician who both offered no treatment options except pushing me to go back on birth control, plus the communication among clinic staff here is terrible. I had to bring FMLA paperwork for my employer to be filled out twice because the provider had an office assistant complete it and they listed the *wrong* health reason on the first copy and sent it to my HR dept, in turn informing them of another health condition that I did not intend to disclose and causing a delay in getting approval for the accommodation I need at work. Do not recommend!!"

"I have had two children with the midwives team at this clinic. Linnsey and Melissa delivered my children and both of them were thoughtful, responsive and acted fast. My most recent delivery my baby had the cord wrapped, and Linnsey acted swiftly and calmly to cut the cord and get her out safely. She took care of me every step of the way and supported me. She never pushed medication on me but supported me when I chose an epidural late in labor. I am so grateful for that!! Melissa delivered my first baby in a fast and uncomplicated delivery. I had a large tear and she stitched me with care. I would recommend the midwives team to anyone!"
