"Dr. Surmack is very personable, he does a good job, except the shots to numb you hurts. His staff is also great, I have about 5 more appointments everything is going well."

"Dr. Andrew Surmak and his staff at the Maple Grove location are great. How ever beware of USA Vein Clinics billing and prepare for long phone waits. I received an email telling me that my payment was over due and they were going to charge the card they had on file for the overdue amount and to call their billing with any questions. At this point in time I had not yet received a bill. After calling the phone number 8 times in a row sometimes using two phones. most calls were disconnected after 3 min but one was on hold for 30 mins. After finally getting through I explain that I never got a bill and had no idea what I owed. I was told my bill was $516 and I could pay it all at once or in payments. I chose all at once. After checking my bank account the next day that I saw I was charged the $516 and $400 that I was never told about. Had I known about this I would have chose payments."

"We spent more than 30 minutes in the reception area, waiting for someone to appear. When they finally did, we were pleased with the treatment."

"First three appointments went well and on time. I knew I was dealing with a limited staff. One doctor, one ultra sound technician and one nursing assistant who changed weekly as they were being flown in from around the country. At my last visit. Three patients appeared in the waiting room. I knew they didn't have the staff for three. The other two ended up leaving because no one assisted them in the waiting room and we had waited a long time. I would have walked out with them but I had already started my care through them. So I waited. They took my copay and payment for my last procedure. Then took me back to change. I gave up after 2 hours! I could kick myself for even giving them that long. Now I have to start all over somewhere else. This is not the staff's fault. This is a corporate problem. There are many other options. Do not waste your time with USA Vein Clinics."

"Unbelievable experience with this outfit. I have been to this facility to get testing for a vein procedure, which I was billed for through my insurance company only to find out today of my appointment that they don’t have authorization for my insurance. The appointment was made three weeks ago when you think somebody would get authorization before the day of the procedure. And then to get an aloof cavalier response from the team there is very disappointing. I will definitely seek other options versus this place in Maple Grove. So disappointing!!!! I would like someone to explain to me how you schedule an appointment and nobody bothered to get authorization!"
